History of AvidAir
AvidAir International is a Rolls-Royce FIRST Network™ Authorized Repair Facility located in the central United States with offices in Grain Valley, Missouri.
1991
AvidAir was incorporated in 1991 and commenced business in 1994 following the purchase of the specialized plasticizing machines and appropriate technical data originating from the Corpus Christy Army Depot (US Army).
Since then, AvidAir has been successfully engaged in the business of overhauling and repairing compressor case assemblies for the Rolls-Royce Model 250 Series I (250-C18) and the Series II which includes C20, C20B, C20C (T63-720), C20F, C20J and C20W. The overhaul work is accomplished in accordance with Rolls-Royce M250 Approved Data for Parts Repair Procedures, 10W3 Overhaul Manual and other FAA Accepted, AvidAir Proprietary process specification data.
October 2020 AvidAir moved from its leased facility of 30 years into its own new design specific facility. This new 9,000sf facility is complimented with the most modern engineering, specifically designed and constructed for the strict environment for the compressor case overhaul process.
AvidAir’s sole focus is the M250 Compressor Case Overhaul. We believe that in this new facility, our combined “eye for detail” Team experience of 77 years, combined with the most accurate tooling and process equipment allow us to present Operators with the best product available today.
March 2022 AvidAir International was granted Rolls-Royce approval as a FIRST Network™ Approved Repair Facility (ARF). In 2010, AvidAir revolutionized the performance and durability of the M250 Fleet with the Patented (Patent Number 9,482,114 B2) Carbon Fiber Composite Lined Compressor Case for the Series I and II engines. Today, we are pleased to join the FIRST Network™ global support team as an Authorized Repair Facility (ARF) and expand our relationship with Rolls-Royce. This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing solutions that deliver quality, safety and reliability at a reasonable cost to our customers and partners around the world. We look forward to continuing to expand our support capabilities as a FIRST Network member.
