Our Process
Following the acquisition of the machinery and machine blueprints from the Army in 1993, AvidAir successfully re-manufactured the equipment, installing modern electronic speed and temperature control systems for enhanced process control. Another significant improvement was the redesigned spindle drive system incorporating vibration isolation features for ultra smooth and consistent operation. Finally, AvidAir's own proprietary plastic injection system has established consistently repeatable dimensional results while increasing quality and overhaul turn-around time.
AvidAir possesses the most modern, accurate equipment for this process today. AvidAir's facility is modeled after the "clean-room" environment found in the manufacturing industry.
