Our Process
Following the acquisition of 3 original Allison machinery (DDA) with blueprints from the Army in 1993, AvidAir successfully re-manufactured the equipment, installing modern electronic speed, temperature and injection control systems for enhanced process control. AvidAir received FAA Certification in November 1994 and began serving Operators worldwide. After producing compressor case overhauls for nearly 20 years, AvidAir engineered its own proprietary, patented, (FAA Approved) carbon fiber composite liner as well as new state of the art injection systems. This new development had furthered AvidAir’s ability to establish consistent, repeatable dimensional results while increasing quality and overhaul turn-around time for the Operator.
